At Peerigon, we believe in giving back to society and taking responsibility for creating a better world. Twice a year, we donate to charitable organizations across the globe that work for various social causes. For Diversity Day 2023, we are excited to contribute to a local project that supports the queer community in Augsburg.

We are proud to support the 'Queerdeckel' project of Christopher Street Day Augsburg e.V., which aims to create safe and inclusive spaces for queer people in the region. The initiative provides education on LGBTQIA+ topics and raises awareness about queer-friendly venues in the city through beautifully designed coasters that feature educational texts on topics such as Queer, Sex/Gender, Ally, Trans & Cis, and CSD. Participating venues will also receive a queer-friendly sticker for their doors.

The idea for the campaign came from a community event in 2021, where participants created different coaster designs and sketches. We are pleased to contribute to this initiative and increase visibility for safe spaces and against discrimination for the queer community in Augsburg.

In addition to supporting the 'Queerdeckel' project, our donation also goes directly to CSD Augsburg to strengthen their work and support the queer community in the city.

As a company, we recognize that there is still much work to be done to create an inclusive society. However, we firmly believe that businesses, customers, and communities can work together to make a positive change.

We encourage everyone who is interested to attend the Christopher Street Day celebration on June 17 at Augsburg's Rathausplatz, under the motto "Room for Pride - for queer, safe spaces in Augsburg." Let's celebrate diversity, support the queer community, and make a difference together! 🏳️‍🌈🖤🏳️‍⚧️🤎
